Direct Focus Community Aid (DFCA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting underprivileged communities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the Newly Merged Districts. Additionally, DFCA operates in Balochistan, Punjab, Sindh, and BG to expand its humanitarian and development efforts.
DFCA is a non-profit, non-governmental, non-political, and non-religious organization. Since its establishment in 2009, DFCA has been actively engaged in community development. It was formally registered in 2018 under the Society Act of 1860 (Registration No. 2222/5/8829).
DFCA holds an approved signed an MoU with the Economic Affairs Division, Government of Pakistan, to further strengthen its development initiatives.
Our mission is to empower marginalized communities through effective participatory approaches, research, Health and institutional development.
We envision a progressive and prosperous society built on justice and peace.

Our story
Direct Focus Community Aid (DFCA) is committed to partnering with communities to build a society based on three core values of sustainable human development: self-esteem, freedom of choice, and tolerance. DFCA envisions a society where everyone has equal access to opportunities and justice, regardless of gender or social status.
DFCA has undertaken several projects aimed at supporting girls’ education by providing resources and opportunities for them to complete their studies. Additionally, the organization actively employs women as teachers, fostering female empowerment through education.
Furthermore, DFCA has played a vital role in assisting public institutions in implementing decentralization policies to facilitate human development in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (Ex-FATA) . A key objective of this decentralization effort is to enhance the delivery of public services, ensuring better access to education, healthcare, and social welfare programs.
Direct Focus Community Aid (DFCA) is a small yet well-reputed national-level organization committed to rehabilitation and welfare initiatives across Pakistan. As a forward-thinking non-governmental organization (NGO), DFCA operates with a futuristic outlook, striving for sustainable development and social progress.
DFCA engages in a diverse range of activities and serves as a beacon of hope, upholding values of excellence, inclusivity, and high-impact approaches. The organization takes pride in its contributions to rehabilitation, education, human rights, health & nutrition, livelihoods & food security, gender-based violence (GBV) protection, WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene), refugee support, and child protection.
Notably, DFCA has played a crucial role in supporting Afghan refugees by creating a safe and conducive environment for their well-being and integration. The organization is dedicated to empowering Afghan communities with the resources and opportunities needed to become productive members of society.
